No Audio with MSN Messenger 6.1

In MSN Messenger 6.1, my friend can view my webcam and hear me through their
audio and I can view their webcam, but I don't receive any audio. I am
using Logitech Quickcam Pro 3000 camera and he is using a Logitech Quickcam
Home. He's downloaded the latest drivers and is able to record audio clips
and video clips with sound outside of MSN Messenger. I've checked all the
settings over and over and re-installed 6.1 twice on both systems. Any
thoughts?

I would appreciate some help...cheers

Why select msn messenger 6.1,unless you use msn explorer-a dial-up
connection,you should stick with 4.7 windows messenger for xp.

If your both using WinXP try using "Start a Video
Conference", it's way better than the "Send my Webcam"
or "Start a audio Conversation".
