No audio on some of my imported videos

Hi!
I have imported lots of vidoes into WMM, but for some reason, only some of
them play the audio. Most of my videos were imported onto my computer months
and months ago, but theyr'e all from the same digital camera (Sony
Cyber-Shot) using the same format. Does anyone know why some of my videos
import into WMM with audio and some don't? Also, if I play the video on the
playback monitor, it will have audio, then when I try to put the video onto
the timeline, it loses the audio. Ugh! Any help is much appreciated!

Are the videos MPEG?
If so that is likely the problem.
Convert them to AVI or use WMM to capture from your camera again as DV-AVI.
