Newbie question on Remote Control

L

Loren S. Teillon

I have a Win2k Dell server at my store with dedicated IP address.

When I am at home I use an XP pro workstation to TM into the box at
the store. I want to be able to remote control, or view what the
employee at the store is doing on the server. We use the server as a
workstation for data entry, etc. At the store we log in as
Administrator. From home, with TM, I log in as Administrator as well.
I would like to remote right into the session that the user at the
store is on and see what he sees, remote control, etc. Instead, I
seem to get a seperate session and cannot see what they are doing. Is
there a solution for this?

Many thanks in advance...

No, you cannot remote control the console session.
What you want is only possible if you install a workstation in the
store and let the user start a TS session to the server. You would be
able to remote control that session without problems.
