Newbie in difficuty with slipstreaming SP2.

I'm out of my depth here but maybe a more experienced poster can point me
towards a solution.

I have made a slipstream ISO of XP Pro+SP2 using SlipStreamer and have an
ISO file of 595 MB. Also have Nero 6 and a bootable floppy.

What do I do next to get a useable bootable CD?

All I keep getting is a copy of the ISO image which is quite useless since I
think that I need the ISO to be extracted onto the CD in order to use it.

Sad really but age is catching up fast and I really do want to install SP2.

TIA

Thank you very much for your assistance.

I think my main problem is that although I have genuine Microsoft "Home" and
"Pro" CD's neither has the required 'Microsoft Corporation.img' file which I
don't understand and I have tried all sort of ways of identifying it since
it is a hidden file but it is not on the CD's as far as I can see.

Is their some alternative source of this file or do I have to give up
because it is missing?

If it is a true ISO image it should contain the necessary boot sectors:
and you cannot make them from that floppy. So you use Nero's Recorder
menu 'Burn Image'. If that does not give a bootable result, I don't
know that program to be able to comment - but I have alternative
directions (which do work) in one of our sections on SP2 matters -

Here are complete instructions to slipstream SP2. It does assume you have
UltraISO but if you don't have it you can get a trial version which will
allow you to extract the bootable info. You can just use whatever steps you
need to make you image bootable or start from scratch. You don't need Winrar
but it does make things easier (or use Winzip to extract the files from the
service pack).

1) Put XP CD into CD drive.
2) Copy all files and folders to C:\XPCD
3) Open the service pack with WinRAR and extract the files to C:\SP2
4) On the start menu open the run box and type
C:\SP2\i386\Update\Update.exe -S:C:\XPCD
5) To make it bootable open UltraISO, goto the bootable menu and click
extract boot file from CD\DVD and save it to C:\XPBoot
6) In UltraISO on bootable menu click load boot file and point to C:\XPBoot.
Your image is now bootable.
7) In UltraISO open file menu and click properties.

Volume = WXPCCP_EN
SystemID = WXPCCP_EN
Volume Set ID = WXPCCP_EN
Publisher = MICROSOFT_CORPORATION
Data Preparer = MICROSOFT_CORPORATION

8) Save your image in C:\XPSP2 (or anywhere you like)
9) That is your slipstreamed disc made
