Hello everyone. I have a form based on a querry of two tables. When I enter
a new record it does not show up on the form the next time I open it, but it
does show up in the table. Is there something I am missing.

Thanks

I just noticed that the query on which the form is based does not show the
new record in the tables. Do I need to re-query after I add information on
the form, and if so how do I do that in laymen's terms?

Thanks

It does not show up in the query, not even if I re-run the query, nor do I
have any filters on. My form based on the query has a button to open another
form based on one of the tables in my query. When I open that form I see the
record. The only places it does not show up are in the query and on the form
where it was entered. The form has data entry set to no.

My three tables are one-to-one, so should be editable according to the help
files, but when I tried to edit a record in the query datasheet view I got a
message saying someone else has made changes to the record and if I save my
changes it may cause a loss of data. When I hit "save changes" twice it will
save my changes. I can not even add a record to the query itself in
datasheet view. It allows me to choose to add a record, and then to type in
my data, but when I close it and come back the record is not there. I have
tried everything I could think of to no avail. I am sure this kind of
question has been posted before, but I tried every wording possible to search
for past questions and could not find my problem.
