New pst does not show all folders

Hello Experts,

when I create a new pst in outlook 2003 or 2007 for that matter, all i get
is a deleted items and search folders under the "Personal Folder". for some
reason i thought i get inbox, sent items, notes, etc.

what am i missing?

Just make those folders if you want them. Right click on the personal folder
and add folders to it

Those folders only apply to a default PST file. If you make this new PST
File your default, they will be added.
