New Folder in WExplorer: C:\PerfLogs

WXP Pro SP2 - Folder found in Windows Explorer under
C:\PerfLogs - contains one file:
System_Overview.blg 128KB "Peformance Monitor File".

I don't recall ever seeing it in this location before and it sure doesn't
look like a place it should be located.
It looks intact and functioning with an active graph ie exactly as it
appears in Computer Management "except" mine starts with:

Console Root
System Monitor
- Performance Logs and Alerts
Counter Logs
Trace Logs
Alerts

I was hit by a Virus Ad for "Pest Trap" bearing a Trojan Horse a few days
ago.
I wish the Computer Gods would ban this Company from the Net.
I'm tempted to merely Delete it as I don't know where it should be located
and the same graph is in Comp. Mgmnt.
It appears to me to be operating perfectly but HOW would it have arrived in
this location?
Would appreciate any and all suggestions. Thx. ...
