New document opens as Document3

When I open Word 2007, the new document has the temporary name "Document3".
I've tried deleting the normal.dotm template, but I still get Document3 as
the opening document. How can I change the template so that new documents it
will open as "Document1"?

It did, but I discovered the culprit. A template (en7cwyw.dot) put into the
Word startup folder by Endnote created the problem. I replaced this template
with the original, and now I get "Document1" when I open Word.

I am having the same problem, but I do not believe the file "en7cwyw.dot" is
anywhere on my system. Could there be another cause and solution? Thanks.
