New Disks recognition issue

Hi

I have installed 2 new HP disks and added these to an array using the
megaraid client. These look fine in megaraid, I now have 104Gb in total. 4 *
36 in Raid5. Problem is in Windows 2000 server disk management. It still only
shows 36GB which reflects 2*36 as Raid1. I can't see the 2 new disks at all.

Its the first time I have tried this, so apologies for whats probably a
basic error.

Did you activate them in your Megaraid client? I have Megaraid SCSI setup on
my dell server and I just added a new HD to it. It 'see's it' fine, but it
will never show up in windows until I activate the drive and mark it as a
logical drive.

Check to see if this is the case. Also, what Service pack level do you have
for Windows 2000 Server? I know earlier versions do not support large disks.
