new computer...outlook...news not working

we jsut got a new computer (windows xp already installed)
when i wanted to add "news" to the "go" menu in outlook....it
added it just fine....but when i click "go"...then "news".....instead of the
newsgroup thing opening....a folder opens called "1033"

??? confused ???

any help?

To fix the issue, either open up IE and go to 'Tools|Internet
Options|Programs' and select Outlook Express as your default Newsgroup
program, or just open up Outlook Express and select yes when it asks you if
you want to make Outlook Express the default News Reader. The News button
should work the next time you open Outlook.
