Network Neighborhood is called My Network Places in XP. To put it on
the desktop:

1. Right click a blank spot on the desktop.
2. Click Properties.
3. Click the Desktop tab.
4. Click Customize Desktop.
5. Put a check mark in the My Network Places box.
