Networking a new printer with Airport Extreme Base Station

I'm setting up a home network with one ethernet connected PC and one wireless
laptop. The wireless isn't set up yet. I'm using the Airport Extreme base
station to do this. Everything looks connected, but I connected my printer
to the base station and reconfigured the printer location to a TCP/IP
location, but my PC says there is no communicaiton with the printer. (There
was before when it was directly connected to the PC)

Reinstall the drive and define a TCPIP port - install as local printer.

Typo "drive" should read "driver"

I don't think it is no longer a "local" printer, as local refers to a com,
lpt or usb port. It is now connected to a base station, which in some
respects, acts as a router - I believe the OP needs to remove the old
printer from his/her PC and reinstall as a "network" pc, since it now has a
TCP/IP address, like any other network device would.

Yes, and the TCPIP port option is under "local printer". If you don't
believe me then try the wizard.
