Networking 2 Win 2K's and a 98

Can anyone give me instructions on how to network these 3 home pc's I have
norton personal firewall on them all too. I have tried and tried but to no
avail so far! Or at least point me in some direction to an informative
website that talks in laymans terms!!

Much appreciated......
