network wizard "no writeable device" to copy network disk

I have run the network wizard and it does not detect my dvd/cd writer so as
to make a network disk.(no floppy)
Toshiba Satellite A30 part PSA33C xxxx
what do I need to do to make the wizard see the cd writer?

It isn't possible to make the Wizard write directly to the CD writer.
Close the Wizard and manually write the Wizard's setup file to the CD:

C:\Windows\System32\Netsetup.exe

You could also write the file to a removable thumb drive, E-mail it to
the other computer, etc.
