first off, windows xp has a FANTASTIC built in cd writing
program that was co-developed by Roxio, the makers of EZ-
Creator. For most people who burn cds, this should be all
you would want to burn cds. It has the ability to drag
and drop cds directly to the cd-burner drive, and then
you can simply click write these files to cd. Voila, 1
burnt cd.
Second, if you are burning isos, you should switch to a
better cd burning program, such as nero, or at least the
latest version of roxio cd creator. Nero would be my
preferred choice, if I were in your situation. It
simplifies the whole process.
Lastly, if you are dead set on using your outdated
software, you can always check out the roxio website.
From my initial research, it looks like a compatibility
issue which can be resolved by updating the roxio
software.
