Network Problem

Hello has anyone had the same problem as myself
I have 2 win2000 machines both connected to a ethernet hub using 100Mb
connection. Neither machine can see each other, they are both sending
ethernet frames, but acording to the Icon on both computers (The network
one) neither have recieved a single packet. they are both getting there IP
adddress automtaiically and I can not understand this. I can not ping
either machine from each other .
