Network Problem (HELP)

i have a small network set up with one file server running windows small
buisness server 2003. i have a linksys router which is used for dchp.
dchp is disabled on the server. i have 4 workstations all running windows
xp pro. the server is basically used as a file server and runs all the
time. workstations have mapped drives to access data on the server. also
have a wireless router use for one laptop also windows xp pro. dchp is
also disabled on the linksys wireless router.

all works great all day long. if i leave any of the workstations on
overnight, that workstation must be rebooted in order to reconnect to the
mapped drives on the server.

Interness access is still available

i have made sure the power saver is NOT turning off the NIC card. i am
pretty much stumped and i am hoping somenoe may have run across this
situation before and can offer a fairly simple soultion

TIA for any help or advise you may have to offer..

You should start by reporting the results of the usual basic
tests, e.g. of these commands:
- ipconfig /all
- ping [router IP address}
- ping [server by IP address]
- ping [server by name]
- ping [Google by IP address]
- ping [Google by name]
You should also turn off the server's firewall during testing.
