Network problem after resume from suspend or hibernation

My Windows 2000 Professional on my notebook is having a problem.
After resume from suspend or hibernation, the network (tcp/ip)
connection will not work.

Any suggestions? Any patch to fix this?

Thanks.

Try updated NIC drivers, or do not suspend/hibernate the unit.

Any errors showing in the Event Viewer? Are you using DHCP or static
addresses? If using DHCP is DHCP Client service set to "Automatic"?
Are you using NIC or wireless? Are these devices set to wake up, are
they compliant to power management or do they fall asleep when you
hibernate the notebook?
