Hi
can anyone tell me how to connect to a shared printer on
win2k machine and have the full path showing instead it
connecting to LPT1: How do I use the LAN manager

Hi nayettey,

There are 2 ways,
1) if you have local installed printer you can change the
port to
n/w port. i.e ports -> add port-> local port then give
the n/w path to printer
2) use Point and Print method. i.e double click on n/w
printer, it should get installed on your m/c
