network places error

Hopefully someone can help me here...
I have a network with many 98 PCs (unfortunatley) there is two NT 4
SP6a servers. Recently the co got two new XP machines and joined to
the domain fine. Now most things work perfect except for when browsing
Network places either through My Network Places or through Open/Save
in any application. The problem is that the user gets an error saying
"Access Denied" when they try to click on the domain.

Now the user is a standard user with Local Admin rights. They can
access the servers fine by using UNC names e.g. \\server1

Anyone any ideas what is causing this as they need to be able to save
to diffrent locations on diffrent servers and mapping so many drives
is difficult for them to understand.

Many thanks in advance
Martin

it could be the master browser issue. do you have WINS server? use browstat
to check the master browser
