Network ID Wizard - Issue

Guest

I usually use a laptop from work with a domain as part of a Business network
on my Home network (Internet, etc). Today, I attempted to join the domains
to make life simpler and share resources. However, in the process of using
the Network ID Wizard I accidentally selected Option 2: "This computer is for
home use and is not part of a business network." with no additional options
to back-out.

Now, in the "Log On to Windows" box the domains are not present and user
name/password for this "new configuration" was never created. I'm locked out!!

Does enyone know how to disable this option? Or an indication on what to do?

So are you still able to log on to windows locally?

If so why not just run the wizard again ?

Robert,

log on as: Administrator

simplest answer is to go back in on your laptop as administrator and go take
yourself off the domain, put yourself back as workgroup, then delete the
laptop id on the server and then rejoin.

Sorry I take it you can still log on locally to the machine? if so do the
last post, Also ? joining two domains? do you mean that you have joined onto
a domain or you are attempting to join two seperate domains.

Take the laptop back to work and hand it in the Admin. Refresh your
knowledge of the company policy.

P.S. I like this "accidentally selected" explanation. Pray the Admin won't
revoke your admin rights on the laptop.
