Hello:
When trying to copy large files from one of our servers to an XP
workstation, the following error occurs:
"..the I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit
or an application request".
This typically happens on files that are pretty large, usually 100mb or
more. The file will start copying normally, then the status bar will
freeze. About 30 seconds after, the error message pops up. This only
seems to happen when trying to pull down files from a share on one of
our Win2003 servers (no problems on any other servers). I have
disabled virus scanners, firewalls, and tried different accounts,
network cables, NICs, etc to no avail.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
-Mark
