Network Connections

Hi. I'm using Windows XP Professional, and I also have a wireless router for
my Internet service. However, every time the status of the connection changes
- i.e. wireless connection unavailable - I get this little pop-up screen in
the bottom corner of my screen, which is extremely distracting. Can anyone
tell me how to get rid of that pop-up (which I assume is part of network
connections)? Thanks.

Right click the wireless connection icon and select Network Co0nnections from the menu. In network connections, right click the wireless connection and select Properties. On the General tab, remove the check marks from the 2 options at the bottom of that dialog box.
