Network Connections from Control panel is blank.

Kevin

My Network Connections from Control panel is blank. I'm sure my Ethernet card
or my network adopter is installed already,

this happened when i reformatted my Windows XP SP2, then I just bought
Windows XP Pro Essential SP3, and it still does that. I went into the Device
manager and did not show Network Adopter section at all.

Do I have to open up my computer to identify my driver vendor and download
the driver from other computer? or do you suggest any solution? Thanks.

Hi
Yap, you need to get the Drivers for the Network Card.
They are usually available on the computer's manufacturer web site, or if
the Card is onboard one, the motherboard manufacturer (or chipset provider
Intel, nVidia, etc.) would have it too.
If you can not find the Card's Drivers, just take it out and get a new card.
Network cards go as low as $5.
