Network Cable Unplugged

D

D Levy

I installed Windows 2000 Professional and can't connect
to the Internet using my cable modem. It worked fine
under Windows 98SE. There is a computer icon in the
system tray with a red "x" with the message "Network
Cable Unplugged." I verified the connections between the
cable modem and the computer. I know the cable is good
because it works with another computer.

Any suggestions would be appreciate. Thank you.

Hi,

What driver is installed for you NIC? You may want to check to see if there
is an update to the driver.

Thanks,
