When I open windows xp fax console....norton antivirus says that
"fxclnt.exe" has "Netspy Trojan Horse".

Is that part of the fax console.

I don't have the norton firewall or norton internet security running . I
just have Norton anti virus. How do I configure the anti virus program to
prevent the "Trojanhorse" warning?

That prior Norton link addresses false positives from there firewall which
I have seen and serviced a few times. Did you ever run Norton firewall or
security package? If so, those packages uninstall badly and perhaps there's
some remnant service running.

If definitely Norton AV only, it would appear that your machine is either
really be infected with some variant of netspy or that NAV also reports a
false positive. The links below with info about netspy might help you
determine which is the case. If it does seem to be a false positive, you
would have to contact Symantec re. how to eliminate it.
