Net logon service disabled

Hi,ter
I have a lan with 3 sites and 5 DC (Windows 2000 server Sp4)
Since a few days the net logon service is set to disabled on all the DC on
the 3 sites. I set it back to automatic, i reboot a Server and after a few
minutes on some DC the service go again to disabled.

Has anyone any ideas?

Thanks for your help!

Check the event viewer for clues as to what may be causing the service
to fail.

Are all the time settings on all the servers in sync?

I don't think it failed. From the post it appears some process is setting
it's startup type to 'Disabled'

BTW haven't we had enough of "fumbled, fiddled and fingered"
