Need help with Z-order issue.

The Shadow

My taskbar keeps getting caught behind my windows. So I have to go into
taskbar properties, check and uncheck "keep the taskbar on top of other
windows", then hit apply. What is causing this and what do I do to fix it for
good?

Yes I do have Google desktop. I will be removing it in a week or so anyway
due to being on a Christian college campus with controlled internet sites. I
would guess that removing Google desktop will solve the problem, so thanks
for your post Rick Rogers.

Thanks for your post Mr. Ferguson. I do actually have Google desktop. I am
sorry I portrayed myself as someone who knew what he was talking about. I
just new the name 'Z-order' from a previous post in which no one knew why my
taskbar was acting up. So I do not even know much about what you said, but I
am sure it would have been helpful if I did not have Google Desktop.
Thanks again,
The Shadow

So, remove the Google Desktop, it is not required.
I tried it and thought it was a joke, it went POOF in a matter of hours.

I am sorry, but I am a little confused. What went "POOF" in a matter of
hours? The taskbar or Google desktop?
