Need help with "Leave a Copy of Messages on Server" configuration

The "Leave a Copy of Messages on the Server" feature suddenly stopped
working and now all messages are download and the server then wiped.
I have unchecked and re-checked this option several times trying to
reset, but it isn't doing any good. I have created a new test profile
and it won't respect the setting there either. I uninstalled and
reinstalled Outlook, but still no change.

How can I get this feature working again? Has a recent windows update
broken this? I'm running Outlook 2003 (11.8118) SP2.

Thanks,
Jim

First thing I'd do is ask the ISP if anything changed on their end. It
isn't just a client setting. Servers can override it too (see Gmail's pop
server, for instance).

After that, I'd test a different POP client to make sure the ISP isn't lying
when they say nothing changed.

Excellent points both, but I've been through that and it isn't the
ISP. I have 3 other POP accounts with them and those all remain on
the server just fine. I can't figure it out and it's driving me nuts.

Are those other accounts being accessed through Outlook?
