Need help with Canon error please

I have a Canon i560. Today the printer refused to print. The yellow
light would flash five times. I looked that up and saw it was a print
head error. I did everything suggested, including reseating the print
head. I also "reset" the printer.

Now when I try to print it says there is no print head installed.

About two months ago the printer stopped printing reds so it's been
having problems for a while.

Is it time for a new printer? It certainly doesn't pay to buy a new
print head. Especially when I'm not even sure that's the problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

The print head is the most likely cause but it is also possible for the print
head cable(s) or the main logic board to cause this problem.
Overall a new printer is the safest way to go.
Good luck.

Get a Canon IP4500 and use Canon ink
