Need help installing FbPro97

I am trying to install Football Pro 97 on my windows xp system. I put the cd in and am asked if I wish to install it. I click the "install" button, and then all I get is some type of sierra window open on my task bar that is minimized but will not open. That's it...nothing else. I then have to reboot my system to even make that "window" go away. Is there a way to make this game install on windows xp? Any help would be appreciated.

By the way, I tried that "windows compatability" thing, but that only appears to help if the program has already been installed.

It's nearly 10years old mate I doubt very much it will run at all

Does it not give you the specs for the game on the box?

I have only the manual and the cd...and the manual is an original...printed back before windows xp came out.

I was just really hoping I could install this game. Any ideas?

Unfortunately mate No idea at all

Just too many incompatability problems to run with XP due to its age

Only other way is for you to install it onto another with an older O/S on it like ME or 98
