Need help how to convert capitals into lower case

I have text which I copy off another source and paste onto a word
document but the trouble is its all in upper case. Is there anyway I
can convert it to lower case whilst word document open.

Thanks

What version of Word?

In Word 2003, select the text and choose Format - Change Case. Lowercase is
one of the options, but Sentence case might get you closer to where you want
to end up.

In Word 2007, look in the Font section of the Home ribbon tab... Change Case
is just to the right of the superscript tool.

if these do not work, check your font - there are some fonts which
automatically utilize only CAPS and Change Case doesn't work on them.

Select the text you want to convert. Pressing [Shift+F3] toggles
between all CAPS, lower case and First Capital.
