Need Epson Smart Panel Help

I have an Epson RX600 All In One printer/scanner. It comes with the Epson
Smart Panel application, which I see is used for scanning also. What I want
to do, is to be able to scan directly to a folder I created on my desktop,
bypassing the "View Images and Set Options" screens, and avoiding
"PhotoImpression" launching.

When I launch the Smart Panel app, it asks me what folder to save to in the
"Scan and Save" screen, but again, instead of saving directly there, it
saves to the "View Images and Set Options" screen, and the scanned images
don't go in to my selected folder until I choose "Save" in "View Images and
Set Options". Also, to even get there, I have to actually close the
Preview/Scan screen by clicking the "X" in the corner of the window, thereby
actually closing it. Very "ungraceful". Only then does the "View Images and
Set Options" screen open. The first few times I used this, I thought I lost
all my hard work.

So, again, I just want to scan directly to my own pre-made folder bypassing
"View Images and Set Options" and PhotoImpression, and without closing down
the Preview/Scan pane, and having to open it again to scan more. I used to
be able to scan directly into a folder with my old Microtek X6 scanner and
the ScanSuite app, but I don't see any options listed for this in any of the
Epson Smart Panel windows. Thanks in advance.

Step 1: Select Scan and Save from Panel Interface or Palette
Interface.

Step 2: Scan images with TWAIN.

Note: For detailed operation information for TWAIN, please refer to
TWAIN Help.

Step 3: Verify scanned images in View Images.

Step 4: Double-clicking the scanned images in View Images will open
Image Viewer for full-size views of the scanned images.

Step 5: When you finish verifying the scanned image, you will be taken
to the Save File, in which you can choose a converted file format and
a path to save the file.

Step 6: After the settings have been made, click Save to deliver the
scanned images.

Step 5 has a File Path box right at the top. If this isn't how your
Smart Panel operates you're using an obsolete version and need to
upgrade.

Search for the program ESCNDV.EXE which is probably in a folder ESCNDV.
This is the Epson Scan program. Create a shortcut to the EXE and just use it
instead of going through Epson Smart Panel (which calls Epson Scan).
