Need Advice on Disjoin/Rejoin

I need some advice on the practicality of disjoining and rejoining
servers to the domain.

We have a method of ghosting servers so that recovery of the OS is very
quick. However, we need to disjoin the server in order to create the
clone. I'd like to have this done quarterly.

What's the danger in not being able to rejoin the server to the domain
properly? I'm told that it's somewhat dangerous in that the server
won't rejoin properly and we will have to rebuild it.

Nate,

I am not sure that I understand why you want to ghost your servers every
quarter? This does not make a lot of sense to me. If you were talking
about the clients then I might suggest that every six months or so would be
maybe a better idea. But, you are talking about servers! Unless there was
some horrible problem with a server I would not just randomly remove it from
the domain and then re-add it. I am not sure that I understand this.....
