Rejoin the domain after a Disaster recovery test

Hi,

We currently have a our file server/DC and Exchange 2000 server which are
being replicated to identicle servers on the other end of the building. We
severed the link in order to test whether the domain would work on the 2
backup boxes which worked after a little AD tweaking. Now I want to rejoin
the existing domain but am a little reluctant to due to the changes made. Is
there any way I can overwrite the AD on the backup box mentioned earlier so
that there are no complications?

If you reconnect the dc to the domain, replication will commence. You could
do a dcpromo /forceremoval and then clean up the ad objects and rejoin the
old dc back into the domain.
