"NDIS.EXE Bad Image" Error Message

I keep getting a "NDIS.EXE Bad Image" error message when
I start my windows XP. It refers to several files in my
Temp directory and takes forever to restart.

I am also no longer able to rollback to a previous
Restore point.

Any suggestions?

Ndis.exe is a variant of the Rbot/Spybot virus.
Boot into Safe Mode, perform a search for Ndis.exe and delete it.
Remove Ndis.exe from the registry... it may be is several places.
This should fix the problem.

hey, give the guy a break! I logged my brand new computer on to get some free
AV to tide me over until my purchased Norton Systemworks arrived (5 days and
still waiting) and by the time I had fought my way past the MSN triggered
adverts and downloaded Anti-Vir, I had Ndis.exe and several Trojans and
Worms. And they're a b****r to get rid of!
