Navigation Pane - Vertical Lines in Folder View

I hope I can explain this correctly. In versions of Outlook prior to Outlook
2003 when viewing folders in the folder list you use to be able to see
vertical lines at each folder level that would point to child folders
underneath the current level that you are at. This has seemed to go away
with Outlook 2003 in the navigation pane when viewing folders. I work with
an extensive amount of folders grouped by subject and sometimes have them
nested as far as 4 or 5 levels deep. It is easier for me to view them when
expanding an entire level of folders and its subfolders if there are vertical
lines to the left of each folder pointing back to its parent folder. For me
it is simply a visual thing and I was wondering how to turn it on if
possible. I hope so because I believe the folder list in the navigation pane
is simply a treeview control.

To give you an example you can control turning on the vertical lines in the
folder list in Windows Explorer because they have an option for you to do
this. (It is called "Display simple folder view in Explorer;s folderlist")

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Outlook 2003 doesn't include lines in either the mail view or folder list
view.
