hi,

i have the following to set the listfillrange of a combobox (forms
combobox). but it is not working:

Sheets("template").ComboBox1.Range ("num_dropdown")
any ideas?

is the forms combo box on the sheet????
if so you wont be able to set it. you would need a sheet combo box from the
control tool box. then use this code.
Sub setlfr()
Dim r As Range
Set r = Sheets("sheet2").Range("Num_DropDown")
ComboBox1.ListFillRange = r.Address
End Sub
iis the list fill range on another sheet than the combobox?
if so use this
ComboBox1.ListFillRange = r.Address(External:=True)

oh
forgot to mention. the forms combo box doesn't have a list fill range. it
has row source.
