my webs got merged, cant get them apart

I have 4 different website. Each has its own web folder under "my webs".
Some how they all got linked together, so the shared border from one over
wrote all the other site, so they all have the same shared boarders. And
when i go to publish it wants to publish all the website under one web
address.

How do i get the webs back apart?

What is the directory structure of the webs? Are three contained in the
fourth, or separate folders contained by another folder?
If separate folders, right click on each folder and choose "Convert to web"
For each web, you will have to rebuild the shared borders, themes (if used),
and navigation (if used).

Sounds like you opened your root web at my webs and all 4 folders in it are not subwebs
- In Folder List or Folder View right click each folder in the root web at my webs and select Convert to web
