My video clip stops early in power point

I have inserted a 15 second video clip into my power point
presentation...when played it stops early...on a similar note book computer
the sameproblem does not arise.
I have saved the file from media player then inserted into power point slide.

I use Window XP with Power Point 2003 Professional. The clip was sourced via
email as an MPEG file saved then copied into the presentation.
