Movie clip audio

I have made a 2007 power point presentation with several short video clips
with audio scattered throughout. These been recorded using a compact digital
camera whilst taking photos
Problem is that when I click on the slide, the clip runs and the audio stays
in sync with the speaker, BUT when I run it as a slide show, with these video
clips inserted to run either automatically or run when clicked on, the audio
runs faster than it should and finishes some little time ahead of the filmed
speaker!
Guest speaker and got to show this presentation in 48 hours so would
appreciate help to find a solution!

There are several factors with PowerPoint and video playback (OS, memory,
format, etc.). What I would recommend is converting all videos to the .wmv
format, which is the most user friendly format to PowerPoint. Then assure
all movies are in the same folder as the presentation before inserting.

Best quality is to use video editing software to convert (eg. Vegas Pro,
Premiere, etc.). But I have also used some of the online converters, which
are free, and had good results. Check out: zamar.com or other web apps
(search for "online video conversion" or "web based video conversion" -
note" not all will convert to .wmv format).
