My spell cheker does not work when I write Outlook emails

I bought and installed Proofing tools and it works well with Microsoft Word,
but it does not when I use Outlook 2003 to write emails. (I use English,
Italian and Spanish languages). It did work in an older computer, an older
version of Outlook. I could not find help on Microsoft Office Web Pages.
Suggestions?

Hi Dave, thank you for answering me, but the problem is with the spelling,
not the translation: when I click"tools" "spelling" (of a hightlited word)
the program does not show the word as misspelled (and I know it is!) that
happens with the three languages I use. So, what I have to do is copy the
word I have doubts with, paste it in a Word sheet and check the spelling with
Word...very inconvenient...
Maybe I have to re-install Proofing Tools?

Hi,
I am: as far as I know, when I click "New" under Outlook Mail, Word opens.

Hi Giulia,
I am a little confused now.You said you have to paste the words into Word
to check the spelling, but if you are using Word as your E-mail editor, you
are in the program!! Word should detect the language you use automatically.
Anyhow, check the language-settings again.
1) Start<All Programs<Microsoft Office Tools<Language Settings <Enabled
Languages tap. Mark the checkboxes for your languages.
2) Word<Tools<Options<Spelling and Grammar tap. Check the settings.
3) Outlook<Tools<Options<Spelling tap. Check the settings.
Good luck,
