my pictures slideshow screensaver

I really like the WinXP my pictures slideshow screensaver,
but how do you scroll through pictures manually? Every
keystroke I try just disables the screensaver

Nope, arrows, number pad, page up,down, space, enter,
still end the screensaver.

Sorry...one other user also said it did not work...
but for some reason...it works on my system.

If you click the Settings button is
"Allow Scrolling Through Pictures With The Keyboard"
Checked?

After clicking on the Screensaver tab a window opens to select what you
want. Click on the Settings button in this window. This opens another
window. Check the box "Allow scrolling" and then OK.
To scroll, press the right arrow key to get the next picture and the left
arrow key to get the previous picture.
