My Pictures Icon Dissapeared

hello,
i just finished reinstalling everything on my computer because i
wanted to started over with a format. when i was adding things to my
My Pictures folder i noticed that the icon for my My Pictures folder
had dissapeared i have never had this happen before. I've tried
everything i can think of and im out of ideas. can somebody plz help

go to start, click "run" and run rundll32 mydocs.dll,PerUserInit this worked for me. if the icon dont show whenever you reboot your computer, you may have to run the file after your computer is done loadin. hope this helps~A.P
