my pictures folder

When i upload pictures from my camera to my computer i could go to "my
pictures" folder and view the pictures. For some reason the Pictures don't
show up in the folder anymore. I suspect its some setting,but don't know
where to look. Windows XP sp-2

Perhaps you have changed the upload folder path.

Are you using a third-party transfer application or?

Do a search for pictures you recently uploaded from your camera and see where
they are.

Start>Seach>Files and Folders>Pictures Music or Video>Pictures and
Photos>Advanced>When was it modified>Within the last week>Go

OK.

You say you 'find" the pictures on the harddrive.

In which folder are they located when you find them?

Did you find the latest pictures you uploaded?

How do you get the pictures from camera to harddrive?

How do you know the camera is uploading the pictures? Not 2 weeks ago but now?

You can copy them from My Documents into the My Documents\My Pictures folder.

Open My Pictures folder and create a new folder. Copy the pictures to that
folder.

When satisfied they are there and OK you can delete them from My Documents.

Then attempt to find out why HP is sending the pictures there.

I'm betting it is a path setting in the HP software that has been altered and
needs to be reset to My Documents\My Pictures folder.

When HP photo and imaging software is open you should find something similar to
"Preferences" or "Options" where you can set an upload path.
