My Music folder location

Recently bought an internal hard drive to accomodate music and video files. I
want to move all the music and video files from the C drive to the new drive.
But I would like to set up My Music on the start menu so that when I click on
it, it will take me to the files on the new drive. How do I change the
settings so I can do this?

To change the location of your Music Folder:

start>run and type

regedit

Navigate to the following key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell
Folders

In the right-hand pane, locate "My Music" and edit the Value Data to the
location New Music Folder.

Then navigate to the following key::
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User
Shell Folders

In the right-hand pane, locate "My Music" and edit the Value Data to the
location of the New Music Folder.

Everything went OK til I got to the User Shell Folders. There was no My Music
listed in the right-hand pane. The only thing with My on it was My Pictures.
Is there somewhere else I should look? It seems the change won't take without
changing the User Shell Folder as well.
Thanks.

Add it in the User Shell Folders. Just like the Shell Folders.
