iTunes and My Music folder

My hard drive was getting full so I moved my music folder to an external. But
I didn't do it the right way ( I just moved it in explorer) oops. Also the my
music icon is missing from the start menu and when I look for the folder in
tweek it is not there. I recently installed a new version of iTunes and now I
get the message:
"The folder iTunes cannot be found or created, and is required. The default
location for this folder is inside the "My Music" folder." I moved the folder
back to the original location, no help there, But when I plug in my iPod it
opens iTunes and finds my music. ?? go figure? I need to find a way for my
computer to see this folder again.
HELP!

Hi Red,

When you moved the My Music folder via Windows Explorer, the My Music shell
folder path will be changed. Here is how to reset the location to defaults.

Reset the Shell Folders paths to defaults:
