My homepage has been hijacked!

Some nasty thing from the internet has changed my
homepage in IE to a website called about:blank and it
won't let me change the homepage back to Yahoo.com (or
anything else)this is very irritating. Any suggestions?

you can try, in internet explorer, clicking on tools >
internet options then the programs tab and then click
reset web settings.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I have scanned my drive
with the latest Norton def.s and the latest SpyBot def.s.
No viruses, no syware/adware.

Just spybot isn't enough. You need to run all three listed. Adaware, spybot,
and cw shredder. Some fix/find things the others do not.

Try the other two programs as well - they will perhaps find extra entries
that SpyBot hasn't.
