Is there anyway to keep the folders in My Documents from reappearing after
you delete them. I keep deleting the My eBooks folder, and it keeps
reappearing. Thanks

This is not related to Windows XP directly, but a common question which many
people at my work have asked!

If you have install Adobe Acrobat 6, you may of noticed that a folder is
created in your My Documents called "My eBooks". And even if you delete it,
the next time you open Acrobat the folder will be recreated.

This is the result of the "ebook.api" plugin for acrobat.

Navigate to c:\program files\adobe\acrobat 6\reader\plug_ins

and move ebook.api to

c:\program files\adobe\acrobat 6\reader\optional

Now you can permanently delete the My eBook Folder.

NOTE: Only do this if you do not plan to use the ebook plugin.

Move the file ebook.api to the following folder:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 5.0\Reader\optional
from:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 5.0\Reader\plug_ins

Delete the My eBooks folder now.
