My Documents

Just UPGRADED to Windows XP fro ME. Folders and files
that were on my desktop folder My Documents are no longer
found. A file in the folder state that they have been
moved to the Shared Documents folder under My Computer.
When I went there the files and folders are not there.
Is there anyway to recover these files.
